Enrique Spacca, an Italian-Colombian songwriter and pianist, shapes what he calls imaginal music, an Italian indie folk shot through with transcendental pop: through simple vocal melodies and the unexpected harmonies of an introspective piano, he opens the doors of an inner world to his audience.
Based in Switzerland, he weaves Italian, his mother tongue, with English to tell stories of upheaval and transformation, inviting a shift in perspective: beyond the noise of the world, to renew the bond that unites us to others and to the living, and to find unity at the heart of division.
His solo project is a tension towards authenticity, matured over years of sound exploration within bands and visual research, in the lineage of Battiato, Conte, Pino Daniele and Andrea Lazlo de Simone.
